Viridian Energy Founder and CEO, Michael Fallquist

In Viridian Energy, a very informative interview of Mr. Fallquist by Charmed Magazine.
CHARMED | What are the benefits for customers to enroll in Viridian Energy Service?

Wow. That’s an easy question—there are many! Put simply, customers have a choice and Viridian gives them the ability to save money over time while being a part of a significant collective impact on the environment with Viridian’s commitment to green energy. It comes down to being a more informed consumer and exercising your right to choose. Electricity has been deregulated to benefit customers. It’s up to each of us, as consumers, to take advantage of the savings and innovation available now through deregulation. What really makes Viridian different is the positive impact customers can have on the environment. Our customers are part of a collective impact that has made a measurable difference they can be proud of.

Compliance issues in Maryland; the domain name viridianinfo is……………….

for sale because it is not permitted to be used by an Viridian Energy Independent associate
since the recent debacle in Maryland, a sweep of all content posted on the internet is being made!
Ads have also publicized “No contracts,” when Maryland law requires that retail suppliers and their customers sign contracts.

How this was missed or allowed to happen is somewhat strange. The “no contract” selling point with Viridian has been around since I joined
in July and remains one of many benefits. How was it missed that one of the major selling points was not to be used in Maryland? What happened to the notification to all Viridian Associates that this phrase was to include - “No contracts - Maryland Customers Excluded”? Think
about this for a minute……….What happens when a potential Maryland customer views archived content or
recent content that leads to an associate that is in a coma, or deceased?
Is that Viridian Associate non-compliant? What will happen then?

This is by no means an attack on anyone. I just wonder how it is possible for the well known quote that everyone has heard when they hear of Viridian gets missed
months ago when Viridian launched in Maryland?I apologize in advance if this post offends anyone.

The Milford borough hopes to save about $20,000 on its electric bill this year by purchasing electricity from Viridian.

Councilman Donald Pursell said he felt comfortable because the borough can cancel the arrangement at any time.

“The thing that made a difference for me was that it wasn’t something we were locked into,” he said.

‘Go Green’ educates students; provides discounted electric rates

Educating Others about the Power to choose in Viridian Energy
The majority of people don’t know about Energy Choice or just don’t understand how simple it is to choose,” explained Sister Grace. “It’s up to us to help educate our parents and supporters so they can experience the benefits of the program. If electric customers do not choose, they have no control over the rates they pay. It’s really very simple.
