News About Non Profit Organizations generating income with Viridian.
Local youths and other Non Profit Organizations generating income with Viridian Energy!
“Atlantic City Electric is currently charging about 15 cents per kilowatt hour,” Devers said. “Viridian’s rate in July was 11 cents. That’s a 26 percent savings.”
With Viridian offering a variable rate, Devers maintains a Facebook page monitoring the monthly changes as a service to those who make the switch for EHTYO.
Devers said it cost the EHTYO $300 to buy into the program, but Viridian offers a $300 bonus if the fund-raising organization can bring 15 households in the first 90 days. Devers said the EHTYO had no problem reaching that mark.
“We wiped that out in the first two weeks,” he said, adding that so far more than 50 households have switched to Viridian through the EHTYO. The goal was originally to eclipse 100 households.
“The way it’s going, I think we can do a lot better,” Devers said.
To date, Devers said the EHTYO has received $800 in donations from Viridian.
